History program offered at YWCA

AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY PROGRAM OFFERED: Students of True African-American History will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the YWCA of Warren, 375 N. Park Ave., Warren. SOTAH is an organization composed of individuals interested in learning and sharing the truth concerning African and African-American history. BRIDGE BUILDING EVENT: The Mahoning Valley miniature bridge building competition will be held Friday at Youngstown State University for local students. The objective of the event is to design and build a structure with the highest load to weight capacity ratio using supplied materials. Teams consist of three students and one adviser who must build the bridge at the competition within a three-hour time limit.
