Miss Ohio to help at event
MISS OHIO TO HELP AT BENEFIT: Miss Ohio Heather Wells of Howland will assist at a benefit Chinese auction at noon Sunday at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St., Warren. WARMING UP EVENT: A “Warm Up Warren” will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the log cabin at Courthouse Square in Warren. Low-cost new and gently used winter coats, hats and gloves will be available. The event will include crafts and games.
PRACTICE SEMINAR PLANNED: Judge Thomas A. Swift will host the 33rd annual Probate Practice Seminar from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Friday at Squaw Creek Country Club. The seminar is being co-hosted by the Trumbull County Bar Association and Trumbull Probate Court. Featured speakers are Justice Judith French of the Ohio Supreme Court and Dr. Phillip Resnick. GOLF OUTING HELPS ANGELS: A benefit golf outing to help Betty’s Angels will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Bristolwood Golf Course, 7108 state Route 45. The event is a four-person scramble. TRUCK SHOW: The Liberty Library Branch, 415 Chuchill-Hubbard Road, will hold a Touch a Truck event from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The event will include Porgie the Clown from 1:30 to 3 p.m. who will make animal balloons. The Warren-Trumbull County bookmobile will be part of the event.
