Program covers soil conservation

SOIL CONSERVATION TOPIC OF PROGRAM: Amy Reeher, watershed coordinator for the Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation District, will speak at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Library Branch, 415 Churchill Hubbard Road, about conservation practices that can be adapted whether a yard is measured in acres, feet or steps. The event is free.

CAR AND BIKE CRUISE IN: A classic car and bike cruise-in runs from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Greene Eagle Winery, 2576 Davis Peck Road, Greene. The event will include a DJ from 3 to 6 p.m., door prizes, 50-50 charity raffle, bonfire and food. All makes and models welcome. Admission is free. Call 330-583-9463.

ROADS CLOSED FOR RUN: On Saturday, the following roads in Mill Creek MetroParks will be closed from 7 to 11 a.m. for the YMCA Memorial 5-mile run: East Glacier Drive, Memorial Hill Drive, West Glacier Drive, and Price Road.

SOPHIA TO HOST TRUNK SALE: Stop One Place Help Is Available Inc. (SOPHIA) will hold a trunk sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. Vendors welcome. Refreshments available.
