Library holds Earth Day event

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION: The Liberty Library Branch, 415 Churchill Hubbard Road, will hold a free Midweek Mayhem Earth Day celebration 3 p.m. today for children in grades fifth to 12th. There will be nature crafts, up-cycled do-it-yourself projects. Registration required by calling 330-759-2589.

FOOD ITEMS TO BE PROVIDED: Deliverance Temple Church, 1849 West Ave., N.W., Warren, in conjunction with Youngstown Community Food Center will distribute grocery items at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Those needing items are asked to bring a photo identification and utility bill.

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK INCLUDES OPEN HOUSES: National Library Week is being marked through Saturday. A celebration with refreshments will be held at the various Warren-Trumbull County Public Library locations. Times are: Cortland Library, 2 to 5 p.m. today; Howland Library, 5 to 7 p.m. today; Liberty Library, 10 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday; and Brookfield Library, 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday.

SEMINAR ON MANAGING RELATIONSHIP: RST Research will host a free seminar on managing relationship challenges, “Toilet Training for Men and Women” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the YWCA of Youngstown, 25 W. Rayen Avenue, Youngstown. The workshop provides a bridge to more effective understanding between couples. The book on the topic will be released in October.
