Lakeview hosts art show
LAKEVIEW SCHOOLS HOST ART SHOW: The Lakeview School District art show will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the high school auditorium lobby. On display will be finished pieces from the recent Lakeview Elementary School art festival in addition to artwork produced by middle and high school art students.
MALL TO HOST EGG EVENT: The Movement and the Eastwood Mall will present ”Eggs in the Mall” at 9 a.m. Saturday at the mall in Niles. There will be 10,000 Easter eggs for children 11 and under to find. MUSIC SERIES PLANNED: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library will host a six-part series “America’s Music: A Film History of Our Popular Music from Blues to Bluegrass to Broadway” The series starts at 6 p.m. Monday at the Main Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. S.W., Warren. For each program, Dr. Kenneth Bindas, professor and chair of the department of history at Kent State University, will provide an introduction to each session and then lead a discussion.
FARMING CLASS OFFERED: Ohio State University Extension is offering the “Annie’s II – Managing for Today and Tomorrow” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. April 9 to 30 at the Trumbull County Extension office, 520 W. Main St., Cortland. The program is conducted for farm and ranch women who want to plan now for a successful transition later.
