Curator to discuss railroad

PROGRAM TO DISCUSS UNDERGROUND RAILROAD: The Kinsman Historical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kinsman Presbyterian Church, Church Street, for a program by Sally Thomas, curator of the Sutliff Museum, on the Trumbull County Underground Railroad. The society is also selling its 2013 calendars.

GROUP TO MEET ON BIKE EVENT: A meeting to discuss plans for the second annual Bike to Work Warren event will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Trumbull County Health Department, 176 Chestnut Ave. N.E., Warren. Local representatives from the county and tourism bureau will be part of the planning committee.

WIZARDS AT WORK: “Young Science Wizards” will be offered for children in kindergarten to third grade at 6 p.m. today at Main Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. ASSOCIATION OFFERS PROGRAM: The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of the Valley is sponsoring a lead-based paint renovation repair certification course with the Mahoning County Healthy Homes Lead Hazard Control Program, an EPA-accredited training provider. The class will be offered from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at 108 Westchester Drive, Austintown.
