Fest brings beers, blues to Packard

Packard Music Hall will host the Mahoning Valley Brew Fest on Saturday.

The event will raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and participating breweries include Great Lakes, Jackie O’s, Numbers, Thirsty Dog, Crooked Tongue, Birdfish, Paladin, Altech Lexington, Lucky Owl, Ohio and Tieton Cider Works.

Food will be available from Cockeye BBQ, A Taste of Nawlins, YOLO Grille, Awesome Freddy’s Grillin’ Dogs and Senor Chow.

Entertainment will feature the Colin Dussault Blues Project, led by the harmonica-playing Dussault, whose musical influences include Blind Willie McTell, Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Woody Guthrie, The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin. The band has been playing the blues and rootsy rock ‘n’ roll in northeast Ohio since 1989.

Tickets are $35 for general admission and $50 for VIP tickets and are available through Ticketmaster and local Relay for Life teams.
