Self-guided walk set for cemetery
ASSOCIATION TO HOLD CEMETERY TOUR: The Newton Township Cemetery Association will hold a self-guided cemetery walk from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Newton Township East Cemetery on North Canal Street.
The cemetery had its first burial in July 1813. The more than 150 veterans buried there span the Revolutionary War through World War II. Maps will be distributed to those who attend that highlight individuals buried there, including a former slave, a prosperous immigrant farmer, the vice president of Cleveland Cut Flower and the founder of Neidhart Insurance.
CLOTHING GIVEAWAY SET: The Clothes Closet Ministry of Cortland Trinity Baptist Church, 2571 McCleary-Jacoby Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. All clothing is given freely to those in need.

STEP UP FOR SENIORS: Tod’s Crossing, 1330 Blakely Circle S.W, Warren, is offering the Step Up (Safety Takes Every Person) Senior Safety School from 1 to 3 p.m. the first, second and third Fridays of each month The program is being held through Dec. 6.

LEARN TO DANCE: The Niles SCOPE Senior Center, 4 E. State St., will offer a “Learn To Line Dance Class” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. The class will last for six weeks, meeting every Thursday. To register, call 330-544-3676.
ASSOCIATION TO MEET: The Northwest Neighborhood Association trustees and directors will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at Grace United Methodist Church on Drexel Avenue. The group was patrolling the neighborhoods this week.
MOM EVENT AT CENTER: A Super Mom Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Eastwod Expo Center in Niles. The event will be to provide information on area businesses, organizations, resources, activities and products.
Admission is free. Activities will include CPR class, breastfeeding class and diaper dash.
HUNGARIAN CLUB HOLDS HERITAGE DAY: The Youngstown American Hungarian Club will hold its 28th annual Hungarian Heritage Day from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown. The event will include Hungarian folk art, music, a boutique and food. The Cleveland band The Hungarians will play American and Hungarian songs.
