Penn National Gaming reports earnings
WARREN — Penn National Gaming, Inc. announced Thursday a net revenue of $1.1 billion for the fourth quarter of 2018, an increase of $386.3 million.
The increase was driven primarily by contributions from the acquisition of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc., according to the company.
Operating income amounted to $124.4 million, an increase of $97.6 million over the same three-month period in 2017.
There was a net loss of $42 million, driven largely by one-time transaction costs associated with acquiring Pinnacle.
Penn National operates Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course in Austintown.
