• CHAMBER TO HOST WINE TASTING: The regional chamber will hold its annual “Salute to Elected Officials” wine tasting 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Avalon Inn. Government officials at the local, state and federal level will be in attendance, as will policy advocates. There is an admission fee for regional chamber members, elected officials and others.

• HOLMES TO SPEAK AT CHAMBER EVENT: The regional chamber will host a “Lattes and Legislators” meeting with state Rep. Glenn Holmes, D-Girard, 8 to 9 a.m. Nov. 9 at the United Auto Workers Local 1112 hall at 11471 Reuther Drive SW, Lordstown. Holmes previously served as mayor of the village of McDonald and now represents the 63rd district in the Ohio House of Representatives.

• CHAMBER TO PRESENT ECONOMIC FORECAST: The regional chamber will share its economic forecast on the local, regional and national levels, as well as updating attendees on projects the economic development division is working on for 2019. The event will take place 7:30 to 9 a.m. Nov. 14 at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. Attendance is $30 for chamber members and $40 for prospective members.
