Ohio Star Forge to mark anniversary
WARREN — Ohio Star Forge will hold a ribbon cutting for its recently completed expansion in conjunction with the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber at 10 a.m. Saturday at the company’s location, 4000 Mahoning Ave. NW.
The company also will be celebrating its 30th anniversary on Saturday. Ohio Star Forge was originally a joint venture of Copperweld Steel and Japanese company Daido Steel. The enterprise began with only 23 employees and two forging machines.
Ohio Star Forge is a steel firm with heat treating, cold roll forming and CNC machining capabilities. It now operates five forging machines and has nearly 120 employees.
