• SAM PITZULO HOMES RECEIVES AWARD: Sam Pitzulo Homes & Remodeling, LLC, of Canfield recently was awarded the Best of Ohio Homes award for the Best Historical renovation category by the Ohio Home Builders Association at the 2017 Fall Awards banquet in Columbus. The prestigious Best of Ohio Homes Awards are designed to recognize excellence among builders, remodelers, developers and associates throughout the state of Ohio. The awards are presented to companies that have made significant contributions to the residential housing market through outstanding craftsmanship, design and architecture.

• FARMERS TRUST HIRES ROSSI AS VP: Farmers Trust Company has hired attorney John M. Rossi as vice president, trust administration for the Trust Company’s operations in Howland. Rossi has nearly 15 years of experience in law and will use his legal expertise in probate, estates and trusts as a resource for clients. Rossi is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Akron School of Law. He recently finished his tenure as president of the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber Foundation, serves on the board of the United Way of Trumbull County and lectures on tort law at Kent State University at Trumbull.

• OHIO LIVING PARK VISTA ACHIEVES HIGH STATUS: Ohio Living Park Vista has achieved a five-star overall rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on the Nursing Home Compare Provider Rating Report. Only about 10 percent of the state’s 900 nursing homes achieve the status, rated on things like health inspection, quality measures and staffing. CMS, a federal agency, evaluates nursing homes on state and national level. The data and conduct comparison can be viewed at www.medicare.gov/NursingHomeCompare/search.
