Paglia retiring from Regional Chamber

The Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber on Tuesday announced the retirement of Tony Paglia, vice president for government and media affairs, effective May 16.

Chamber President Tom Humphries noted that Paglia, who started working at the Chamber in 2007, has agreed to stay onboard at the Chamber part time, at least through December, to assist with various government, media and education initiatives.

“Paglia has been a key senior leader within our organization and has participated in the strategy that we have been following for the past seven years. He’s been a valuable, critical member of our organization.”

Paglia was responsible for representing the interests of the Chamber and the business community with federal, state and local elected officials. He also handled all news media relations.

Among his duties was coordinating activities of the Government Affairs Council, the public policy arm of the Chamber, as well as Grow Mahoning Valley, a coalition of business, government, and labor, charged with prioritizing and promoting infrastructure projects in the Mahoning Valley.
