DR. LAWRENCE A. DiDOMENICO, managing partner of ANKLE & FOOT CARE CENTERS, presented five lectures at this year’s annual Scientific Conference of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons organization in Las Vegas. Topics for his lectures included bone grafting, tendon transfers, charcot joint reconstruction, an update on fixation and surgical correction of bunionectomies. Ankle & Foot Care Centers has 16 physicians and surgeons serving patients at 18 local offices.

MAMULA CONTRACTING LLC announced that it recently earned its HUBZone Small Business Certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Based in Warren, Mamula Contracting is a general contractor for residential, commercial and industrial projects. As a “qualified HUBZone small business concern” (SBC), the firm is eligible to receive HUBZone contracting opportunities, and will be included in the listing of qualified HUBZone small business concerns. The federal program encourages economic development in historically underutilized business zones or HUBZones, where the qualified SBC is located.
