TAG offers six classes for March

Six classes will be offered in March at Trumbull Art Gallery.

“March’s Artist Tribute Series” class will focus on Pablo Picasso and meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 3. The cost is $25.

Clay Medley will teach students the fundamentals of clay techniques used in hand building and on a pottery wheel. Sessions are available from 1 to 3 or 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in March. The cost in $120.

“Drawing for Your Lifetime, Part 2” is the continuation of a class inspired by the book “Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain.” The class meets from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays in March starting March 8. The cost is $50.

In “Acrylic Mixed Media,” students will work with various techniques, media and objects. It meets from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturdays from March 10 to 24. The cost is $40.

“Watercolors: The Next Level” will help artists improve their skills in that medium. It meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays in March, beginning March 8.

Starting in March will be a month mixed media series for children ages 10 to 14 to learn the components and techniques in drawing, painting, clay building. The first class meets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 24. The cost is $25 per class or $100 for all five. Additional sessions are planned on April 28, May 19, June 23 and July 21.
