OWR seeks ‘Porgy and Bess’ chorus members

Opera Western Reserve is seeking chorus members for its upcoming production of “Porgy and Bess.”

The chorus will be part of a staged concert performance March 9 at Stambaugh Auditorium with soloists from OWR and the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra. Karen Clark-Green and David Vosburgh will direct the production with Susan Davenny Wyner as conductor and Jon Simsic as chorus master. The chorus will portray the residents of Catfish Row, an African-American community established after the Civil War. All voices and all ages are needed.
