Gosnell 50th anniversary

George and Debra Gosnell celebrated their 50th anniversary with family at a dinner Feb. 9, 2019, at the Gallery Grill in Greenville, Pa.

George Gosnell and the former Debra Evans were married Feb. 7, 1969, at Johnston Methodist Church by the Rev. Millard Mead.

The couple have two children, Dean (Teresa) Gosnell of Greenville, Pa., and Melissa (Tim) Montgomery of Austintown, and fostered Tina Yeager of Hartford throughout her teen years. They also have three grandchildren.

George retired from Republic Steel-LTV-WCI after 37 years as a boilermaker, millwright and iron worker.

Debra was a homemaker for 19 years, and also made cakes and candy, then worked for 26 years as a secretary and business manager for a local company.

George’s hobbies are hunting and gardening, while Debra enjoys genealogy, cooking and card club.

Since retiring, they enjoy traveling while researching genealogy, going to casinos, spending time with family and Maplewood class lunches.
