TRUMBULL COUNTY CARES: Trumbull County CARES, a monthly support group for children who have lost a parent to addiction or have a parent in active addiction, and those who are caring for them, will meet 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Support groups will be divided into three separate groups to allow age-appropriate sharing — ages 8 to 12, 13 to 17 and 18 and older. Childcare for children aged 7 and under will be available, but you must call to reserve.

FREE HEARING AIDS: Centers for Hearing Care, is now seeking local hearing-impaired candidates who are in financial crisis for their sixth annual Hearing for the Holidays mission. Potential candidates must contact Centers for Hearing Care at 330-779-8090, before Friday. Once selected, candidates receive audiological counseling, their own custom-made and fitted hearing aids and a limited supply of batteries, along with education and instruction on proper operation and care of their new hearing devices.

Candidates for the Hearing for the Holidays mission can be of any age but must be a current resident of Mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana counties and be available Dec. 16 to receive their new aids.

If you know someone who is hearing- impaired and in financial crisis who may be a candidate for free hearing aids, contact the local mission team at 330-779-8090 before Friday.

SUPPORT GROUP TO MEET: Fibromyalgia and / or Chronic Fatigue Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 20 at the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave., Warren. Please note the group is going to winter hours. For info, please call 330-847-7001.

LUPUS GROUP TO MEET: The Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter will host its monthly TeleTalk for Young Lupians at 2 p.m. Saturday. Please call 1-888-665-8787 to register.

This is a call-in teleconference for adolescents who are affected by lupus. The support group is an open, small-group environment that encourages discussion among lupus patients and their families.
