Justine A. Pendel of Brookfield, and Jonathan V. Coleman of Howland, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Judith Pendel of Brookfield, and the late Ronald Pendel. Parents of the groom-elect are Vernon and Patricia Coleman of Hartford.

Miss Pendel is a graduate of Farrell Area High School and received a bachelor’s degree in French from Youngstown State University. She earned a degree in dental hygiene from Fortis Institute, Erie. She is employed at Primary Health Network.

Mr. Coleman is a graduate of Joseph Badger High School, Kinsman, and YSU with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is employed by Howland Township.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Sept. 7, 2013, at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, Sharpsville, Pa. A reception will be held in the evening at the Park Inn by Radisson, Sharon.
